SoMa Classics sources these iconic designs to specifications of the original design although not an exact replica. Doing so would mean using mild steel tubes, spot welding, screws instead of rivets and materials such as horse hair or feathers. An original would mean the item would date back to the original production run some as much as 80 years ago. Obviously there are no originals still in production from the original run nor factory today. These original pieces are priceless antiques found in private collections and museums.

The difference is our prices reflect that of the supplier to the customer. We do not operate retail locations nor have the overhead of the large licensed corporations.
